John Maloney

SAP Funds Management Consultant

John is an FM Consultant with over 10 years of experience in local county government finance and budget and has experience using the following SAP modules: Funds Management, Grants Management, FI, CO, MM, PS, SD and PP.

John has Significant experience as a Principal SAP Trainer on the IBM/Navy ERP Project supporting end users at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. He is also active in America’s SAP User Group (ASUG), as Chair responsible for providing sessions on SAP’s hottest topics for presentation to chapter members. He is also a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, and a member of the Institute for Defense & Government Advancement.

John is an expert in using ASAP methodology, and has used tools and accelerators to implement a full SAP suite including FM, GM, FI, AR, AP, CO, GL, SPL, MM, HR, PS, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management. In addition to advanced FM configuration knowledge, John can has provided data migration support, designed unit and integration test plans, trained end users, and conducted end user training analysis.

John served in the Monroe County Office of Controller for 10+ years as a Senior Accountant in various general accounting and reporting roles. John also worked as SAP Financial Applications Manager in Monroe County’s Office of Management and Budget to manage Monroe County’s billion dollar budget in both Funds Management and Grants Management.

John is proficient in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office Suite.

John holds an AAS in Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.
